GUNNAR was just a kid when he picked up a guitar for the first time and felt his life’s purpose: delivering the kind of electrifying live show that leaves audiences enraptured. At the age of 7 he began playing in a garage band with friends in Orange County, now the 22-year-old singer/songwriter has performed in front of sold-out crowds, opening for Maroon 5 and Gwen Stefani, and has amassed over 20 million global streams. From backyard parties to 15,000 seat arenas, he has engaged audiences with effortless confidence and control. Growing a devoted fanbase along the way with his “mesmerizing guitar riffs and truthful lyrics” (TMRW Magazine, 2023). When touring halted in 2020, GUNNAR felt a sense of artistic disillusionment – he set out to find his voice as a songwriter, eventually writing nearly 100 songs rooted in his explosive guitar work. In 2022, the demos caught the attention of GRAMMY® Award-winning producer Brendan O’Brien, with whom, GUNNAR headed into the studio to create his debut full-length debut, Best Mistake. The album encompasses a guitar-heavy sound echoing the eclectic mix of influences that form GUNNAR’s musical DNA. “Again & Again”, coming out Oct. 25th, brings the feeling and connection he made with fans during his 2023 live shows, to his recorded music.
